Best Cafes for a Coffee

Cafes and coffee – everyone has their favorite place for their cuppa joe and probably few things are more personal than what each of us considers a great coffee. But here are a few places Monocle in its travels singled out and while one might argue with the choices, what I always appreciate in these profiles is the evident passion of the people working in these small businesses. I quite liked the scientific approach by the owners at Panther coffee and the cool devices they use to extract flavor from the beans and the way they take the time to educate their customers. The video mentions the Hario coffee makers, of which I am particularly fond. Canada is represented by the cafe Marche St. George located at 4393 St. George at the corner of 28th in Vancouver (pictured above).
