For those looking for a career change Bologna’s Gelato University offers a sweet alternative to further education. This video from Monocle shows  the Carpigiani headquarters to discover the tricks of the trade. Students are taught not only the art of making quality gelato, but also how to put together a business plan, how to design a Gelateria, and how to tailor your gelato to the tastes of the local population. There are video-based courses, online courses, and sessions at 15 countries (unfortunately, Canada is not yet one of them).
